This role will focus on consolidating and delivering mental health, disability, aged care and community services. The General Manager Services in collaboration with the regional leadership/management teams, grows, supports and delivers high quality integrated programs across the regions. This involves planning, monitoring, evaluating, learning and improving services. The General Manager Services is also accountable for operational delivery, advocacy, systems and quality processes within the regions they service.
As a senior leader in the organisation, the General Manager Services will confidently represent and advocate for Wellways at meetings with government and other key regional stakeholders, at conferences, events, represent the organisation in the media and be a thought leader and advocate for systemic change.
About You!
You will bring:
- Demonstrated skills in developing, leading and growing a multi-pronged community business in a commercial environment
- Demonstrated track record of achievement in leading and managing multi-disciplinary regional teams in disability, aged care and mental health, or other allied health services
- Demonstrated track record of thought leadership in a social science or related discipline
- Well-developed knowledge of disability, aged care and mental health in a community setting
- Insightful knowledge of local, state and federal government policy and strategic directions in mental health, disability and aged care
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in a social science or related discipline
- A satisfactory Police Records Check and Working with Children Check will be required prior to commencement of employment.
