- Full-time (35 hours per week)

We are seeking an energetic, collegiate and effective individual who is industry focused and has excellent quantitative and data dissemination research skills and is passionate about contributing to catalysing positive social change and contributing to this new project.
The Senior Research Officer – Outcomes Measurement will conduct research including the measurement and reporting of social outcomes and impact and outcomes measurement capacity building activities. They will also take a lead role in attracting industry research contracts and funding, the development and ongoing management of industry relationships, and project management of industry funded research projects.
This role will also be an integral member of the Amplify Social Impact™ project team. They will contribute to the design of the Indicator Engine online tool, developing the Indicator Engine database, and overseeing data collection conducted by junior research staff and lead engagement of stakeholders in the development of system models, outcomes frameworks, and the subsequent operationalisation of those outcomes frameworks.
Amplify Social Impact™ (Amplify) is an innovative, world-first solution to tackle the root causes of complex social problems to create a more equitable and just society. Amplify will catalyse and facilitate sustainable systemic change, by creating an approach and online platform that will help move the sector away from siloed responses.
About you
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a degree in Social Science (quantitative) with subsequent relevant experience and high-level skills in quantitative research
- Be able to to facilitate and lead online or face-to-face trainings or workshops of diverse audiences regarding measurement of social outcomes, evaluation or monitoring, systems thinking, or technological tools.
- Have experience attracting industry projects and funding, as well as effectively managing funding pipelines and stakeholder relationships.
- Have experience in project management
- Be an effective, proactive [and energetic] researcher with knowledge of program evaluation; outcomes measurement; social impact measurement and indicator development
- Be an effective communicator with initiative, flexibility and an independent approach to working as part of an industry focused team and across multiple projects.
- Be excited about, and committed to, the future direction of CSI, our culture and our values.
