Not If, When – The Campaign to Create Change

This is a time of transformational change at The University of Queensland, following the recent launch of the first comprehensive philanthropic campaign in its history. The campaign aims to raise $500 million by the end of 2020 – towards empowering student success, transforming teaching and learning, and driving discovery and impact.

The University of Queensland is one of Australia’s leading research universities, ranked in the top 50 Universities globally. Based in Brisbane on a beautiful sub-tropical campus, the University offers more than just a fantastic place to work:  its proximity to the Great Barrier Reef, the Australian outback, the Sunshine and Gold Coasts makes it a popular place to create an enviable lifestyle.

About the role

Crucial to the success of the University’s high-performing Advancement team is a sophisticated and integrated Advancement Services unit, delivering data and gift services, managing the University’s customer relationship management system and all philanthropic financial processes. The team also provides services in constituent research, prospect management and analytics/reporting.

UQ is now looking for a driven and tenacious leader as Director of Advancement Services who will manage and develop the Advancement Services team and operation, ensuring that all data, systems and reporting are consolidated across the University.

You will bring extensive experience in high-level operations management and major donor databases (or similar CRM systems) and be confident taking a leadership position in a complex, data driven, service provision environment. Your ability to liaise effectively with a wide range of internal stakeholders will be matched by your proactive approach.
