About the organisation
CHP is the Victorian peak body for organisations and individuals with an interest in ending homelessness in Victoria.
About the role
The Senior Media Adviser plays a critical role in shaping the public narrative around homelessness in Victoria. This role generates and manages media stories that help the Council to Homeless Persons achieve its advocacy objectives, and provides strategic advice to the CEO and Manager – Policy and Communications.
Skills:
- A well-developed understanding of what makes a strong story across all media platforms.
- Relevant qualification or professional experience in media, communications or public relations.
- A proven ability to develop strong networks across the media, non-government organisations and other key stakeholders.
- Sharp, fast and clear wiring.
