About the organisation
CitizenBlue Depot is a busy automated Return & Earn facility in Five Dock with a small team (6 staff) that refunds individuals and businesses 10cents per eligible drink container. It is half owned by the charity CitizenBlue Ltd comprised of 6 key environment groups; the other half by Triple Asset (Nick Karos).
Singulators (automated machines) sort the containers into lightweight and glass; read the barcodes (supplying data to the Network Operator) and are required to operate continuously and efficiently.
We value friendly service to customers. We also collect bins from commercial clients in our region and provide empty ones. You will be working as part of our office team with admin, sales and logistics staff.

About the role
Duties will include:
- Data entry and maintaining a database
- Organising stationery and maintaining the presentation of the office
- Receiving and directing calls or taking messages
- Filing, printing and archiving
- Purchasing depot supplies
- Ad hoc administration tasks when required.
- Additionally, you will be required to assist the accounts manager with entering invoices and other duties when required
Experience and Skills
- Competent with MS Office ( Word/Excel/Outlook )
- Exposure to Accounting software Xero, preferred
- Takes initiative to prioritise tasks in terms of importance
- The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
