About Us
The External Relations, Development and Alumni (ERDA) team oversees a range of activities including fundraising, alumni relations, communications, donor programs and community engagement activities for the University, nationally and internationally. Within ERDA, the Development team’s main goal is to mobilise unprecedented levels of philanthropic support, together with alumni and volunteer talent to support Monash’s education and research endeavours.
The Opportunity
The Alumni Outreach Centre (AOC) is Monash’s in-house call centre which makes outbound calls to alumni. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced tele-fundraising or telemarketing specialist to support the successful operation of the Centre. As deputy to the Manager, AOC, this is a senior role within the phone room.
Some of your key duties will include but not be limited to:
- Supporting the Manger, AOC in selecting and training Monash student callers
- Supporting the student callers to ensure that they are highly engaged, motivated and achieve the KPIs of the call centre
- Creating & updating all training procedures and fundraising communication such as scripts and emails
- Management of the telephony system to ensure smooth functioning of the program
About YOU!
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have demonstrated experience in a similar role where you have successfully managed or coordinated various aspects of a call centre. Tele-fundraising experience would be looked upon favourably. You will have the ability to lead and motivate a team of high-performing student callers in supporting the University’s philanthropy, and pride yourself on your creativity to build exceptional relationships with internal stakeholders.
