About the organisation
Sunbury and Cobaw Community Health is a not-for-profit community health organisation providing a comprehensive range of free and low cost health, wellbeing and community services in early childhood, youth, families, adults, aged and disability.
Covering an area of over 1700 km2 from Sunbury to beyond the borders of Macedon Ranges Shire our 280 staff and 100 volunteers are based across four sites at Kyneton, Romsey, Sunbury and Woodend.

Sunbury & Cobaw Community Health is offering an exciting opportunity to lead a diverse dental team, which values quality professionals and excellence in clinical care.
As the Manager, you will have responsibility for the overall operations and budget of the Oral Health Program. You will ensure the clinic maintains its excellent reputation for quality services and positive client outcomes. Opportunities for program development and input into the organisation’s continued strategic growth are available, including leadership retreats and regular leadership meetings aimed at building capacity and sharing knowledge.
The role requires highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Our clinic is well equipped with digital radiographs, rotary endodontic equipment, surgical handpieces, digital photography and tele-health.
The person
You will need at least 5 years experience as a dentist, with exceptional knowledge of infection control procedures. You will need a sound understanding of the Victorian public dental health sector including funding systems, regulatory bodies, models of care, and experience in the use of the Titanium client management system. Your experience with accreditation processes will also be advantageous to this role.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Dentistry recognisable in Australia, and registered as a general dentist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Additional requirements
The successful candidate will be required to undertake and maintain a National Criminal History Check (NCHC), an NDIS Safety Screening check and hold a current valid Working With Children Check. As a healthcare provider, all our staff will need to be vaccinated for COVID-19 or have a medical exemption by an authorised medical practitioner.
