We continue to provide high quality relationship counselling, dispute resolution and relationship education services. Relationship Matters also provide Employee Assistance Programs, training and workplace consulting.
About the role
We seek a self-motivated, client focused Manager to provide business development, account management, program oversight and direct service delivery to new and existing clients. In collaboration with the Counselling Team, you will develop and promote Relationship Matters’ Workplace Services, EAP, and consulting, coaching and training services.
The role will involve:
- Manage and deliver solutions focused counselling, manager support, training and client advice
- Understand a range of employee focused, consulting and training issues, and translating client needs into cost effective solutions that work for both individuals and organisations
- Develop and maintain client relationships that lead to business growth and profitability
- Lead a team of consultants (and indirect staff) in the professional and ethical delivery of Workplace Services
- Ensure all training and resource materials are regularly reviewed and remain of the highest quality
- Manage the strategic and operational aspects of the business unit, while working collaboratively with other Service Lines across Relationship Matters
- Develop new business products and services, in line with evidence based practice and industry standards
- Source and manage a team of contractors to ensure quality and ethical service delivery
- Grow revenue through sales, marketing and effective client relationship management
- Lead the provision of billable services ranging from EAP and Critical Incident responses, coaching, training and investigations
If you have demonstrated experience in managing and building service delivery in Employee Assistance Programs, Workplace Services, HR consulting and training, and have strong ethical interpersonal, influencing and relationship building skills, we would like to talk to you.
About you
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in counselling and/or the design and delivery of organisational training programs, underpinned by contemporary theory and ongoing professional development
- Experience in EAP counselling, Critical Incident responses and customer relationship management
- Experience managing fee-for-service consultancy and administering a budget within specified tolerance
- Demonstrated commitment to respectful, timely and competent client centred practice
- Computer, financial and health literacy
- Demonstrated understanding of relevant legislation, including the Mental Health Act 2014, the Family Law Act 1975, the Family Violence Protection Act 2008 and the OHS Act 2004 is highly desirable
Qualifications
Relevant tertiary qualifications in psychology or counselling and demonstrated experience in the design and delivery of a range of workplace and human resources services, including counselling, training and employee development, management advice and support.
Additional qualifications in adult training is highly desirable. Qualifications and ability to conduct workplace mediations and investigations is also desirable.
Registration with, or eligibility for membership of, an appropriate professional body (general registration as a minimum).
