About the organisation
On the corner of a busy intersection on Princes Street in inner suburban Melbourne lies the haven that is Carlton Neighbourhood Learning Centre Inc (CNLC). A Victorian house, recently repainted and refurbished, surrounded by a productive vegetable garden, a newly-created Indigenous garden, chooks, and an award-winning composting system.
Here, culturally and linguistically diverse people gather to socialise, to learn and to share. Here, our enthusiastic staff and volunteers connect people, promote equity and challenge disadvantage, and share our values of belonging, respect, resilience and integrity. Here, we advocate for community health, sustainability, and well-being.
This is CNLC, a not for profit Neighbourhood House, charitable organisation, Learn Local provider and Registered Training Organisation.
We are looking for a leader - an experienced and innovative leader - to be our Executive Officer, and guide CNLC through a period of growth.
