About the role
Join our TRACTION team as a Fundraising Coordinator.
We currently rely on the financial generosity and support of our donor community. In this role, you will be working as the driving force supporting our donor community. You will connect with people, support donor engagement, build meaningful relationships, and help unlock TRACTION’s revenue potential.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver TRACTION’s fundraising plan, execute revenue-generating campaigns, events and activities to meet fundraising targets and support overarching strategic funding objectives.
• Conduct fundraising practices and activities ethically, and identify opportunities to improve fundraising processes, aligning with our mission and values.
• Understand the fundraising budget, targets and activity outcomes, to effectively maintain currency of fundraising pipelines, actuals and forecast reporting.
• Lead the coordination of TRACTION-led fundraising events, fostering positive connections with donors and the community, and secure third-party event beneficiary opportunities.
• Support the funding and partnerships team to conduct prospect research, identification, cultivation, solicitation and acknowledgement of new leads.
• Ability to take over new and nurture our existing donor base, providing the right level of stewardship across all giving levels, to maximise giving and retention levels.
• Leverage your current networks and successes to develop proposals for new fundraising initiatives.
• Assist in writing small to medium grant submissions and administer partnership agreements through to status reporting, acquittal and certification.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Communications for aligned messaging and engagement.
• Be a TRACTION Ambassador, represent TRACTION within our industry and community.
• Contribute to the Funding and Partnerships team to collectively achieve TRACTION’s growth objectives.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or 2-5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Proven fundraiser experience, preferably in a non-profit or youth-focused setting.
• Demonstrated experience with the stewardship of donors.
• Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, focus on multiple projects, meet financial targets and deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills with a commitment to inclusive, strengths-based language.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Salesforce CRM, Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot). Knowledge of Raisley and Gem Portal is advantageous.
