About the role
The Sales Advisor is responsible for focusing on sales for Governance Institute’s products and services. The role is responsible for:
1. Education and Training Sales
- Provide learning advice which results in a product sale to prospective students during recruitment periods for Governance Institute’s postgraduate courses (Graduate Certificate and Graduate Diploma of Applied Corporate Governance and Risk Management) to Governance Institute standard and to achieve budget targets.
- Provide learning advice, which results in a product sale, to prospective students for Governance Institute’s short courses, Certificates, Effective Director Course, and in-house training activities.
- Providing a high level of professionalism and customer service to students/clients.
- Managing a pipeline of enquiries and meeting enrolment/registration targets.
- Handling inbound and outbound calls.
- Maintaining information via CRM.
2. Event Sales
- Contribute to the achievement of sales targets and objectives for our signature events.
- Secure new business via inbound enquiries and proactive sales.
The successful candidate will have:
- 2-3 years of sales experience
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Demonstrated experience working with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool.
- Experience working in an education, training, consulting, or membership association is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft business desktop applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage time and workload effectively.
- Outstanding customer service skills
