NPY Women’s Council is an Aboriginal community controlled organisation based in Central Australia.Formed in 1980 as an advocacy organisation, it is now a leader in the provision of human services employing approximately 150 staff.The organisation is governed and directed by Aboriginal women from the NPY region and our work spans across 26 remote communities in the Northern Territory, South Australia and Western Australia.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This role will lead the People and Workplace Services team which consists of Human Resources, Business Support, Properties and Vehicle Maintenance.
The position plays a critical role at NPY Women’s Council by introducing new and different perspectives and practices; in relation to operations, leadership, culture and capability.
You will be joining at a pivotal time to continue the design and delivery of our systems and strategy. This includes a Workforce Development and Capability Framework, a new Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and a future online travel and accommodation platform.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for someone who is forward thinking and who can contribute to business operations and strategy. The successful person will ideally have a background in Human Resources with wider corporate services experience.
You will join and support a highly regarded leadership team and will play a critical role in supporting the People and Workplace Services team on the ground.
We are also looking for someone who has experience in creating meaningful change with people processes so experience in change management, workforce development and introducing learning frameworks will be highly regarded.
