About the role
- Make a contribution to the effectiveness of disability advocacy
- Work 4 days a week remotely

This is an exciting time to join a peak representative body, offering the opportunity to support members through the significant upcoming changes.
The role is key to engaging with DANA’s membership and providing valued-added advocacy and benefits, starting with designing a revamped membership strategy and deepening relationships with and between member organisations. You will work with internal stakeholders on member offerings and communication strategies. On a day-to-day basis, you will also attend to all administration and logistics relating to member enquiries, renewals and database content.
About you
You are committed to upholding the rights of people with disability and bring a knowledge of the disability sector. Your tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience equips you with solid project management capabilities, ability to think strategically, solve problems and managing competing stakeholder interests.
You have excellent relationship management skills, and the confidence and capability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders. You have well-developed written communication skills, are organised and have a good attention to the finer details. High digital literacy is a must.
You can work effectively working in a high-pressure environment, balancing multiple priorities and delivering high quality work. You are self-motivated with the ability to maintain your productivity working remotely, and you have the flexibility and availability to attend in-person meetings periodically.
