What You’ll Do

As the Coordinator of Home Care, you will play a crucial role in upholding and elevating service standards across designated communities. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing MacDonnell Regional Council’s aged, disability, and school nutrition programs whilst undertaking regular travel between nominated communities. Collaborating closely with the Operational Coordinator, you will:

  • Oversee MacDonnell Regional Council’s home care services for aged and disabled residents.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure quality service delivery, handle funding applications, and manage program reporting.
  • Regularly travel between communities to maintain and enhance service standards.
  • Become a key point of contact for inquiries while leading with cultural sensitivity and respect.

 

What You’ll Need

  • Diploma in Aged Care or Community Services (or similar).
  • 2-3 years’ experience in operations within the Aged and Disability sector.
  • Ability to work effectively in culturally and linguistically diverse environments.
  • Strong administrative and reporting skills.
