As we embark on a significant national expansion, we are looking for a high-performing fundraising professional to help drive our ambitious goals.

About the role

The Opportunity

This pivotal role offers a unique chance to make a tangible difference. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will develop innovative fundraising strategies, build meaningful partnerships, and coordinate campaigns and events designed to grow our supporter base and financial sustainability. Your strategic insights and energetic approach will be crucial in empowering Rock Art Australia to achieve its expansion and sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies aligned with clear annual revenue targets and donor acquisition goals.
  • Identify, research, and engage potential donors, sponsors, and funding opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with the CEO, creating targeted engagement strategies, plans, and briefing materials to facilitate meaningful donor relationships.
  • Lead grant writing, proposal development, and management of funding opportunities and reporting.
  • Establish impactful corporate and institutional partnerships to drive financial growth and visibility.
  • Coordinate compelling fundraising campaigns and high-quality events to attract and retain supporters.
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications to craft powerful, impact-driven messaging.
  • Maintain accurate and insightful CRM data and analytics to inform strategic decisions.

Who You Are

  • Experienced fundraising professional with at least 5-7 years in similar roles, demonstrating consistent achievement of fundraising KPIs.
  • Strategic thinker with proven ability to develop and implement successful fundraising and partnership strategies.
  • Exceptional communicator skilled in donor engagement, persuasive grant writing, and event coordination.
  • Adept at managing databases and utilising analytics for fundraising effectiveness.
  • Passionate about Indigenous culture, heritage preservation, and enthusiastic about making a lasting impact.
  • Self-motivated, high performing, and culturally sensitive, committed to ethical standards and confidentiality.
