The Organisation

Giving Direct is a division of 2GrowFundraising, a company that specialises in the establishment and performance tuning of regular giving programs to improve net revenue returns for charities.

Using a new tablet based acquisition system, Giving Direct processes donors’ first payment in real time, reducing donation recovery time on rejected cards and automatically transferring donor records to the fundraising database.

The Role

Your role will support the General Manager in the recruitment of a quality face to face fundraising team. In a fast paced environment you will manage the recruitment process end to end and offer guidance and training to new fundraisers. Specifically you will:

  • Use a variety of candidate attraction methods to source quality candidates
  • Assess potential candidates through comprehensive phone screening considering skills and cultural fit
  • Schedule interviews with General Managers and Team Leaders
  • Conduct reference checks and prepare job offers including the preparation of new employee paperwork
  • Schedule and assist with training for new fundraisers
  • Accurately maintain the recruitment database, providing reporting of the recruitment process
  • Achieve targets for each Giving Direct Client

Skills Required

This is a busy, people focused role, and would suit someone with energy, enthusiasm and lots of initiative. Ideally you will have recruited directly for fundraising organisations either in face to face or telemarketing recruitment or will have worked for an agency managing a fast paced, contract business. You will also be;

  • An excellent communicator with good interpersonal and creative writing skills
  • Inquisitive, with the ability to analyse, investigate and think critically
  • Organised with strong project management and time management skills
  • Efficient with excellent attention to detail
  • Committed to success with the ability to meet deadlines and hit targets
  • A team player who is able to inspire and motivate others
