This 1-day course provides an introduction to AD/HD as well as providing participants with the knowledge and skills to facilitate the ‘Parenting Children with AD/HD program’, an eight-week parenting program designed to assist parents who have a child with AD/HD.
This course provides the platform to explore essential group leadership skills and participate in role plays to build confidence in facilitating the program.
While this course is designed to enable the facilitation of the ‘Parenting Children with AD/HD Program’, it also provides practical tools on how to work with clients who are parents of children with AD/HD.
