The New Accounting Standards: Revenue and Income Recognition and Leases

Carmen Ridley, a member of the Australian Accounting Standards Board, a Member of GAAP Consulting Network and Principal of Australian Financial Reporting Solutions will provide an overview about the application, challenges and common mistakes being made by NFPs when applying these new standards.

AASB 15, AASB 1058 and AASB 16 are now operative and must be applied by all NFPs!

Recent Financial Reporting Developments

Get up to date with the latest NFP financial reporting developments including:

  • New disclosure requirements for NFPs preparing special purpose financial statements.
  • Proposed changes to the “Not-For-Profit” definition and what these changes may mean for your organisation.
  • The latest on the AASB’s Financial Reporting Framework Project and what the future of financial reporting is looking like for NFPs.
