In the last decade the sector and SVA Consulting have grown considerably. Since 2007, SVA’s Consulting team has provided their expertise to over 650 projects for more than 300 organisations. According to the ACNC’s Australian Charities Report 2015, the charity sector has grown to an annual turnover of $134.5 billion, and the total income of the sector was equivalent to 8.3 per cent of Australia’s GDP*.
And yet, the question remains, how much of this activity has led to better outcomes for people in need in Australia? And what does this mean for how we approach this task for the coming 10 years?
