About the role
The Centre for Excellence in Child and Family Welfare (the Centre) provides representation, professional development, research, policy and program advice, publications and resources to community service organisations in the child, youth and family services sector in Victoria. The Centre works with the community service organisations, the State Government and the broader community to ensure children, young people and families have access to the service and supports they need as and when they are needed.
Key Accountabilities
- Commit to pursuing cost effective outcomes and efficiency across all business development operations.
- Understand and operate according to the defined budget to achieve KPIs and sales targets
- Advocate and model a commercial focus in the Learning and Organisation Development team
- Develop, in consultation, strategies for selling accredited and non-accredited training services to the Community Services industry, commercial business and individual learners
- Carry out market analysis and business development activities.
- Act as the lead in tender response functions
- Develop an effective CRM for tracking all aspects of commercial activity, following up leads and harvesting client opportunities
- Undertake administration tasks allocated to the role
Key Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated experience working within a Registered Training Organisation or training environment
- A proven track record in Business Development, Account Management and Sales
- Demonstrated experience of proactive client engagement to uncover opportunities to provide service solutions and sell services
- A proven track record, and high level capability, in tender recognition, developing tender response submissions, negotiating and winning tenders.
- Understanding of the Community Services and Not for Profit Sector
Qualifications
- A relevant tertiary qualification within business administration/sales
- A relevant qualification and/or experience within the community services
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment – TAE40110 (Desirable)
Conditional Employment Requirements
- Satisfactory police check
- Satisfactory working with Children check
- Proof of the right to work in Australia
- Current Australian Drivers Licence
