The Children’s Hospital at Westmead is the largest paediatric centre in NSW and is world-renowned for its high quality specialised treatment of sick children. We have an amazing opportunity for a Customer Care Supervisor to join our vibrant and dynamic team for a Temporary Full Time Maternity Leave from 25/07/2016 up to 11/08/2017 and classified as a Health Manager Level 1.

The Customer Care Supervisor is primarily responsible for the management of the Customer Care team.

The role is responsible for daily accounting of donations, banking, and correspondence to donors (including receipting) and the customer service function.

The role provides direction to the customer care team. Ensuring they exceed minimum service standards while ensure compliance with all NSW health and audit policies and procedures. Donors are handled promptly, effectively and efficiently. This role will be responsible for escalated donor complaints or complex queries.

The Customer Care Supervisor will manage the team to ensure sufficient coverage to process donations, answer phones, support events and all essential daily duties of the customer care officers. The position liaises with relationships managers to identify needs for fundraising within the Network and position then governs process of setting up coding specific to each fundraising project

The Customer Care Supervisor has key responsibility for the database, an essential fundraising resource containing ca. 300,000 active records, and will be responsible for all data capture, management (including privacy/confidentiality policy management). This role will be responsible along with the finance officer for ensuring full reconciliation with the NSW Health finance system.

The Customer Care Supervisor will be required to become familiar with the Fundraising software being used in order to function as a Super User or topic expert within the fundraising team and to to provide first level support for the team.
