The 45 and Up Study is Australia’s largest longitudinal study of ageing, involving over quarter of a million adults in NSW.
About the System and Data Manager Position
The position is responsible for creating and enhancing the Institute’s data management systems to enable the 45 and Up Study data to be collected, managed and provided to researchers in a timely, efficient and secure manner. You will bring core expertise across system development and data management including data security, data storage, data coding and producing data dictionaries.
About you
You will have:
• Tertiary qualifications or demonstrated relevant, equivalent professional experience
• Demonstrated experience establishing and managing database systems
• Demonstrated experience in quality control, data checking and cleaning of large scale datasets, including data manipulation and extraction
• Demonstrated experience in SAS for both data management and data analysis.
• Excellent service orientation and stakeholder engagement across all levels
