About the role
Women’s Health Victoria (WHV) is an independent Victorian state-wide women’s health promotion organisation. We work collaboratively with health professionals, policy makers and community organisations to influence and inform health policy and service delivery for women. By incorporating a gendered approach to health promotion, we aim to reduce inequality and improve health outcomes for women.
WHV is seeking a highly motivated, competent and dynamic woman to manage a government-funded project for prevention of violence against women (PVAW), with a particular focus on building the capability of the PVAW sector to deliver high quality primary prevention and gender equity activities.
You will have experience in project management and leading a team, high level skills in the development and delivery of training and capacity-building initiatives, and strong knowledge and experience in PVAW and gender equity.
This role is nine days per fortnight (0.9 FTE) for a period of 12 months to end June 2017.
