About the role
Seeking an experienced manager to provide operational leadership and management in the delivery of service programs, including the Community Visitors Scheme, Volunteer Programs and Peer Support Programs in line MS service business objectives, strategic framework and statutory disability sector requirements.
The key challenges for this role will be developing new service delivery solutions whilst maintaining excellent service in a dynamic and changing environment. Additionally, there is a need to integrate mission services programs into fee for service business areas to ensure customers receive a seamless service.
You will be responsible for:
• Leading and managing the program teams
• Supporting team members to deliver agreed KPI’s;
• Maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to support the work of MS
• Effectively managing all financial and human resource requirements within area of responsibility.
Selection criteria
Essential:
• Minimum Advanced Diploma in Community Services, Volunteer/HR, Health or Disability area.
• Demonstrated operational management experience including financial and managing people.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire others to achieve goals
• Demonstrated understanding of working with people affected by multiple sclerosis or disability.
• Strong networking and relationship management skills
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages
• Current Driver’s licence
Desirable:
• Managing Volunteer Workforce
• Experience in leading change
• Strong coaching and mentoring skills
