An opportunity now exists for a dynamic Director of Advancement, to join the University.
The Director of Advancement is an Executive role, with responsibility for leading the delivery of the University’s alumni and philanthropic KPIs, including the development and execution of the University’s Comprehensive Campaign and Alumni Relations Strategy in the context of the University’s 150th anniversary in 2024.
As an experienced senior leader in University Advancement, the Director of Advancement will develop and grow the capacity of the Advancement team, drawing on their extensive knowledge of best practice to provide excellent mentorship and training. As the University’s lead fundraiser, the Director of Advancement works with senior leaders across the University on Campaign strategy and major gift stewardship.
The Advancement Office is part of the External Relations Portfolio within the Vice-Chancellor’s Office, working alongside the Partnerships and Corporate Relations team to deliver a strategic and coordinated approach to key stakeholders in business, government, industry, media and the community; many of whom are alumni, supporters and/or donors.
An attractive and flexible remuneration package will be determined following negotiation with the successful applicant, and an employer contribution of up to 17% superannuation may apply. This 5 year fixed-term position is available immediately.
