Psychiatric Disability Services of Victoria (VICSERV) is a membership – based organisation and is the peak body representing community managed mental health services in Victoria. As the peak body we pursue the development and reform of mental health services.

Reporting to the CEO, the focus of this position includes:

• Lead the Education and Training Unit to achieve its goals in line with VICSERV values, policies and procedures.
• Gain market intelligence to keep the Training Unit ahead of the game as a leader in delivering training in community managed mental health.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key industry and government stakeholders to assist in the achievement of the Training Unit’s goals.
• Plan and monitor the annual Training Unit budget.

The ideal candidate will have extensive leadership experience with solid education and training experience and relevant qualifications. Excellent leadership, project management, and oral and written communication skills are requirements of the role.

This position is: Full-time position (38 hours per week), 7.6 hours per day, ongoing.
