- Work Type: Full-time 38 hours per week. Contract up to 30 June 2018 (continuation subject to ongoing funding)
- Location: Liverpool
- Salary: Health Education Officer or relevant classification; commencement level is dependent on qualifications, experience and position requirements.

The Role
This position will be located within a Direct Services Team and will be responsible for provision of clinical group work approaches with refugee families. Participate in capacity building of STARTTS staff and relevant service providers to enhance their ability to provide the groupwork interventions. Contribute to building STARTTS organisational capacity to plan, deliver and evaluate clinical groupwork approaches.
Skills Required
You will have Tertiary qualifications in health, counselling, behavioural or social sciences. Ideally you will have demonstrated experience in organising and conducting group assessment in a cross-cultural context.
You will be a highly motivated person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated understanding of the issues affecting refugees in particular resettlement issues, and the effects of torture on individuals, young people, families, and communities.
