About the role
• The Mercy Health Foundation is seeking an Administration Assistant to perform a variety of support, administrative and clerical tasks to facilitate the smooth operation of our office.
• Duties of the Administration Assistant include providing support to the Executive Director, our managers and employees; assisting in daily office needs; managing the CRM database; entering donations; issuing receipts and managing other general administrative activities as required.
• The job is a full time role, and is located in our Richmond offices and may involve some travel to our Hospitals and Aged Care homes distributed around Vcitoria.
• We are looking for a passionate, driven person, with proven experience as an executive administrative assistant or in other administrative support position. It is important that you have experience with CRMs (Salesforce is preferable, but not mandatory), an understanding of philanthropy and fundraising, and a real passion to help people in need.

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL HAVE:
• Minimum 4 years’ relevant experience as an executive administrative assistant or in other administration position
• Excellent knowledge of CRM databases in a nonprofit or sales based environment
• Full comprehension of office management systems and procedures including MS Office
• Exemplary planning and time management skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritise daily workload
• High level verbal and written communications skills
• Discretion and confidentiality
• Understanding of fundraising practices and principles
• Able to build effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
