About the role
Malthouse Theatre is currently seeking an experienced Development Manager to lead fundraising strategies across private giving, trusts and foundations and corporate partnerships in support of the company’s artistic vision.
The Development Manager is a pivotal role in our organisation, providing strategic cultivation, leadership and activation of a range of philanthropic and corporate partnerships. This position presents an exciting opportunity for a dedicated fundraiser with strong relationship-building skills and an innovative approach. This role works collaboratively with the Artistic Director and Executive Producer and supervises two coordinator positions, as well as maintaining relationships with a range of key stakeholders.
The Development Manager is responsible for:
• The development and implementation of the organisation’s fundraising strategy, through the execution of activities and campaigns
• High level relationship management, servicing and activation of existing supporters
• Identification and cultivation of new philanthropic and corporate partners
• Conducting research, reporting and analysis to understand trends and effectiveness of fundraising activity
The successful applicant will have high level experience in the areas of philanthropic fundraising and corporate partnerships, be motivated, highly organised and have excellent relationship-building skills. This is a full time position based at The Coopers Malthouse in Southbank.
