About the role
Reporting to the Group Manager Risk, Safety, Environment and Quality, you will be responsible for helping YMCA strategically manage risk and ensure compliance to relevant policies and regulations. Taking a lead role in developing, managing and implementing YMCA Victoria’s Risk Management System, you will liaise with key stakeholders to ensure buy-in is achieved and that all staff view risk management activities as valuable to the organisation.
You are a leader in the risk field. Your experience might have been gained in a range of industries and you have a strong record of employing risk management to help achieve business objectives. With an ability to operate at both a strategic and operational level, you are justifiably proud of your stakeholder management skills and ability to make risk and compliance both practical and simple. Your capability to work across all levels of an organisation in supporting staff with risk management planning and objectives is a key strength and will ensure you achieve meaningful results within your role.
