About the organisation
Organisation Name : St Martins Youth Arts Centre
St Martins is currently recruiting for a Workshops Coordinator.
The Workshops Coordinator works closely with the Executive Director, Artistic Director and Artistic Associate to ensure the smooth rollout of St Martins’ workshops program (term and holiday) and other associated events. This is an outward facing role, with a lot of contact with parents & participants of St Martins’ programs, as well as active management of Teaching and Support Artists.
St Martins makes art because we believe adults have a lot to answer for, and children ask the best questions. We believe children inhabit the earth, not just inherit it. And so, we make art with and by children for adult audiences.
We are inclusive, civically minded, socially engaged, and strive to embody these tenets through who we are and what we do. All our programs encourage children's agency, have a sense of inquiry, examine power structures while providing high quality experiences.
Our workshops program includes up to 16 weekly workshops across five sites, holiday programs and in-school experiences.
