Vision Australia, Australia’s leading provider of services to people who are blind or have low vision, is seeking an experienced Gifts in Wills and Community Fundraising Officer to join its team in Melbourne.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing relationships with key supporters and increasing revenue through securing gifts in wills. The candidate will also take responsibility in supporting the community fundraising program, in particular, through building relationships with fundraising auxiliaries and third-party fundraisers and to maintain the collection dog program at Melbourne Airport.

Fundraising initiates not only allow people who are blind or have low vision to live the life they choose but also support our Seeing Eye Dog program.

Ideally the successful candidate will have more than three years experience working in a gifts in wills-related fundraising role. A strong sales background will also be highly regarded.

In nurturing donor relationships you may be required to travel throughout the state and complete multiple visits on occasion. You will also be responsible for organising small donor events.

You will be comfortable working with relationship databases, be flexible to travel independently and possess excellent communication and presentation skills.
