Marketing and Business Development Manager

THE POSITION
You will develop and lead marketing & business development initiatives and maintain sustainable growth for the organisation. You will work with the CEO and Manager, Client Services to:
• Develop and implement sound business development strategies, models and guidelines to maximise business performance.
• Build relationships and establish strategic partnerships and networks to drive business growth.
• Identify government and industry opportunities and write proposals, expressions of interest and tenders.
You will be a driven self-starter with proven success in a business development role within the social services, health or related industries with a passion to get job done, enjoy picking up phone and taking initiatives.

You will require:
• Previous Experience and proven results in a business development role within a social services, health or related industry
• Experience building strategic networks and relationships
• A strong results focus
• Strong business acumen and people skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Tender/submission writing skills
• Strong presentation and influencing skills
• Passion and commitment to the human services environment

Other attributes that will be considered favourably include:
• Graduate or post-graduate qualifications in business, marketing, health or social services
• Ability to speak a language other than English
• Understanding of and experience in the Aged Care sector
