Project/Policy Manager: Community School Hubs

As the Project/ Policy Manager for our school hubs initiative, you will work with local teams to support the development of a comprehensive policy and implementation framework, reflecting the evidence-base for this approach, You will develop and maintain on-going internal and external relationships
A day in the life of a Project Policy Manager might look like this, but really every day will be different:

• Reviewing literature to support the design of the evidence-based program approach including logic model and policy and implementation frameworks
• Working with local team members to understand and problem solve implementation challenges
• Developing resources that enable individual sites to contribute to the ongoing tracking and monitoring of effective processes and outcomes
• Contributing to the scope and design of ongoing evaluation of The Smith Family’s school community hub model
• Working with internal and external stakeholder’s (including school staff and other key stakeholders) involved in governance and implementation of the hub model
• Developing system and process to support data collection and monitoring. Working in collaboration with key team members to document a consistent approach across a number of sites

It takes a special kind of person to be one of our Project /Policy Managers. You will need to have a demonstrated experience in Program Policy and Evaluation Design, with previous experience of leading the implementation of evidence-based policy and program design. You are an excellent communicator, being able to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders. You have the ability to use evaluations to guide practice and policy Understanding of contemporary social policy issues, particularly in the areas of disadvantage, children/young people/families/communities. Most of all you care about helping some of the most disadvantaged in our society.
