Career Transitioning Professionals at Northern Futures Inc

Several positions across South and Northern Adelaide available.

We are now looking for several remarkable Northern Futures brand ambassadors, empathetic, friendly, knowledgeable and committed people. Reporting to the Manager, Workforce Transitioning, you will responsible for assisting our clients in achieving their goals of gaining meaningful employment and will provide tailored career advice to transition to employment, training and education opportunities.

As a Career Coach, your duties would include offering quality mentoring and coaching to transition to employment, training and education opportunities, develop new job opportunities by using reverse marketing, manage and monitor your case load, admin work and networking.

We are looking for people who have a passion for making a positive change to our clients. Your role will be varied, and very busy, but incredibly rewarding as you help with programs that will have a long lasting impact on some of Australia’s most disadvantaged community members.

Skills and Experience – Selection Criteria

• You will have a minimum of 2 years experience in career development, recruitment or employment services (Job Services or DES-DMS or ESS.)
• You will have, or you are working towards a relevant qualification in Career Development (to a minimum Certificate IV level.) or equivalent
• Be a member of the Career Development Association of Australia or a similar professional association or will become a member if successful in obtaining this role
• You have experience working in a performance driven environment and you are able to manage competing priorities within defined time frames
• Your data entry and accuracy skills are superb
• Empathy is a must
• Exceptional interpersonal sales skills using a diverse range of communication techniques
• Have a natural resilience, persistence and drive in achieving your objectives
• Be customer orientated

We operate in various locations within Adelaide so you must be capable of working independently, hold a current driver’s license and be willing to travel to various locations within Metropolitan Adelaide. Your role may involve evening and weekend work on occasions. Current positions are full-time, part-time and casual, from as little as 3 hours a day to 8 hours a day, demand driven.

All candidates must agree to undergo a DCSI and National Police Clearance acceptable to Northern Futures.
