Flourish Australia is one of Australia’s largest not for profit mental health organisations. It has been working in the local community for over 60 years to support people in their mental health journey.
About the role
Based in Sydney, but with a national focus, this exciting role offers opportunities and challenges embracing many aspects of a CEO’s skill set. These will include working with the Board to determine strategy, communicating and interacting with a diverse stakeholder base and delivering services against a structured legal framework.
Candidates will be expected to demonstrate a background of achievements at general management levels, experience of working with a Board of Directors, capability and capacity to manage within change and complexity, and organisational skills.
A strong capacity for strategic thinking, high level communication skills, well formed people skills, a focus on workforce and community diversity, business acumen, and governance and financial literacy will all be core aspects of the role.
Experience of the health and allied health fields, including a broad understanding of NDIS and the mental health sector or similar sectors, is highly desirable.
