About the role
A day in the life of the Community Relations and Development Manager includes:
– securing grants, philanthropic gifts, bequests and other fundraising revenue for the benefit of the work of Anglicare NT;
– coordination of tender development for services / programs;
– overseeing the management of brand, public relations, media and communications for Anglicare NT;
facilitating relationships between key stakeholders, donors and prospective donors;
– genuinely enjoy facilitating honest, productive relationships with supporters, funders and donors alike;
– making the ask and ‘closing’ the deal; and
-being committed to the foundations, purpose and strategic plan of Anglicare NT.
To be successful in this position you must have a tertiary qualification in business, communications, public relations or a marketing related discipline and a minimum of two (2) years experience in a fundraising or business development environment. If you do not currently have a qualification you must be willing to undertake relevant studies.
Please note: It is a requirement that prior to commencing in this role, you must possess an Ochre Card (Working with Children Clearance), a Criminal History Check and a current Northern Territory manual driver’s licence. You must also be willing to undergo a National Child Protection Check prior to employment with Anglicare NT.
