Manager- Anglican Church Property Trust

The Sydney Diocesan Secretariat (SDS) provides centralised professional support for 272 parishes, a number of diocesan organisations, the Archbishop of Sydney and his senior clergy team in the Anglican Diocese of Sydney. These services include finance, investment, property, regulatory, legal and technology support. (www.sds.asn.au)
Reporting to the Head of Parish Property, the role is charged with influencing and implementing the strategic and operational direction and policies of the Property Trust. This will include partnering parishes in the development of church trust property, ensuring relevant legislative compliance and the provision of technical advice, specifically in the areas of heritage matters. The ability to provide well researched reports to the Board and various committees of the Property Trust and wider Diocese, as required, is a key part of this role.
As a tertiary qualified professional with, we envisage your business experience reflects a sound knowledge of the property and trustee industry and its prevailing compliance framework in a multi-faceted organisation. Being client and relationship focussed, you will have an eye for detail and possess strong verbal and written communication skills. The role is diverse and energetic so that the ability to be proactive and solutions-focussed is critical to the success of this integral role within the Parish Property Services division of SDS.
