Volunteers are fundamental to sustaining The Smith Family’s’ work, and to growing our reach. This is an exciting opportunity to support The Smith Family, through optimising the use of quality volunteering data, which will positively influence volunteer attraction, engagement, satisfaction and retention. Throughout the Volunteer team you shall enable the delivery of quality data collection, analysis and reporting; it will ensure the organisation is optimising its use.

A day in the life of the Data and Reporting Analyst might look like this, but in reality every day will be different:

• Delivering consistent, accurate and timely volunteering reporting
• Supporting program implementation and project/event activities
• Development of reporting practices
• Collaboration with stakeholders, refining report criteria, definitions and process rules
• Managing a data quality schedule for Volunteer-involving programs.
• Mining CRM database for insight on volunteering demographics and trends.

Our ideal candidate will be someone with a Tertiary qualification in data analytics or related discipline. You will have demonstrated experience in high level data extraction and analysis skills including data management and manipulation. You will have the ability to take the initiative in a busy and dynamic work environment. You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to form highly productive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, well-developed analytical and synthesis skills and excellent time management. Most of all, you are someone who is passionate about helping some of the most disadvantaged in our society.
