About the role

  • Healthier, happier, connected communities across 100 NSW locations
  • Service delivery focus across Newcastle, Hunter Valley and North Coast
  • Would suit candidates from NFP, government or commercial backgrounds

 

The Role

In this 12 month contract role you will ensure the effective and efficient delivery of services and programs within the area. The role ensures the services achieve operational excellence and are in line with policies, council contract,requirements and children’s services regulations.  The role develops and leads high performing multi-faceted teams across multiple locations with the following key challenges to;

  • Build value-adding relationships with key stakeholders
  • Contribute to the overall strategic direction of services in the area
  • Make decisions to leverage resources and integrate services when required
  • Place the customer at the centre and look for deeper community connection
  • Drive business growth through identifying opportunities within a financial framework


Skills Required

You currently hold a senior position within a human services agency including child protection and disability services or relevant government department. You may also have experience working in a business development role in either the NFP or commercial sectors with strategic relationship skills contributing  to growth.

Your tertiary background could also be equally broad with qualifications in human services, social science, health, business or marketing. You have also developed excellent interpersonal, liaison, negotiation and influencing skills.

Relevant probity checks  are mandatory requirements for this role.
