Independent Director (Non Executive)

Coast2Bay Housing Group is calling for Expressions of Interest from persons interested in becoming a Director to provide innovative and sustainable housing solutions for people in need on the Sunshine Coast and in the Moreton Bay area. Coast2Bay is a Corporations Act 2001 unlisted public company limited by shares.

Selection Criteria

Directors are chosen by the Shareholders in practice following recommendations for the existing Directors.

Directors will have the responsibility of controlling the business of C2B and managing its assets.

The following criteria are taken into consideration when appointing Directors:

• All Directors should have an understanding of and a commitment to the promotion of
community and affordable housing services and the objectives of C2B
• Each Director should have knowledge and understanding of the obligations of Directors under
the Corporations Act 2001 and other relevant legislation.
• Each Director should have expertise relevant to finance, property development/management or
social housing management, preferably in at least one of the following areas of expertise:
o Contemporary Real Estate
o Property Development / QS / Asset management
o Fund raising / philanthropic giving
o Quality Assurance
o Research / academia
o Business management / HR
o Marketing and Communications
o Public Administration
