Anyinginyi needs a Counsellor (female) to support the development, implementation and coordination of targeted, culturally responsive programs and support services.
You will provide counselling, associated treatments and educational programs for individuals and families experiencing historical and ongoing social and emotional distress associated with trauma, grief and loss, forced separation of children, family violence and suicide.
If you can demonstrate depth of knowledge and an understanding of the issues affecting Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people living in the Barkly region and will work in a culturally responsive way to close the gap, family by family, we want you!

Anyinginyi Health Aboriginal Corporation is an Aboriginal-controlled health and medical service. Anyinginyi's role is to be provide quality primary health care services focusing on prevention and treatment in a culturally responsive way while empowering individuals to take more responsibility for their own health.
