About the role

  • Play a pivotal role in delivering Short Term Intervention for young children and their families.
  • Positions available in North East Melbourne, Hume Moreland and Bayside Peninsula areas. Recent Graduates in Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Psychology
  • $61,320 – $67,878 per annum plus superannuation plus $13,000 car allowance in lieu of vehicle (attractive salary packaging options available).

The Brotherhood of St Laurence is the Early Childhood Partner for the North East Melbourne area, Hume Moreland area, and Bayside Peninsula area.

The Short Term Intervention (STI) Coordinator is responsible for assessing and delivering interventions for children who are not eligible for entry to the NDIS as an ongoing participant or where Short Term Intervention may prevent a child from becoming a lifelong participant of the Scheme. These roles require highly motivated professionals who will ensure that best practice interventions are identified and delivered appropriately to provide outcomes and equity of service for children (0-5 years) and their families.

You are tertiary qualified, versatile and engaging, with a natural ability to establish trust and build relationships authentically. You pride yourself on your strong clinical skills and resourceful approach to your work, delivering positive outcomes that improve lives. You may have recently graduated and be looking to build on your clinical placement experience, or you could already possess significant early childhood intervention experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a collaborative and multidisciplinary team in a values driven organisation improving the lives of young children and their families.
