The Position

Crohn’s and Colitis Australia (CCA) is seeking a visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead this highly respected peak patient body into the next phase of growth and impact. You will build on the success of the previous long standing CEO to achieve the strategic vision for the next five years. You will drive excellence and lead a team of committed and passionate individuals.

Maintaining a strong public profile and further strengthening relationships with government, community, medical organisations, donors, sponsors and corporate agencies is central to this position. The CEO will represent and advocate for the interests of those affected by Crohn’s & Colitis, whilst further building the organisation’s positive reach, impact, and financial growth.

Reporting directly to the Board, this position is responsible for all strategic, financial, operational, administrative and legal aspects of the organisation. The CEO is mandated to lead CCA in a sustainable manner to ensure that the organisation’s mission and targets in the Strategic Plan are achieved.

The CEO will have proven experience in raising and managing funds from various revenue sources, an ability to provide strategic leadership, along with strong stakeholder management and communication skills. This role will give the successful applicant an opportunity to further their leadership aspirations, and influence a sustainable future for this important and respected organisation.
