About the Role

The Director, Policy and Evaluation has responsibility to lead the Policy and Evaluation team to drive change through public policy, monitoring and evidence-building, guided by our foundational document, Change the story. The role is required to have deep knowledge and experience of intersectional and/or culturally competent approaches to social change. To be successful, the candidate must have excellent stakeholder engagement and written communication skills and demonstrable leadership experience.

The role is for a fixed term until June 2019, with a view to extend beyond this date based on funding.

Our Watch is a national, independent, not-for-profit organisation established in 2013 to drive nationwide change in the culture, behaviours and attitudes that lead to violence against women and their children.

Our Watch’s vision is an Australia where women and their children live free from all forms of violence. Our mandate is to stop violence before it happens, and our purpose is to provide national leadership to prevent all forms of violence against women and their children. Our work is based on sound research and strong and diverse partnerships.
