About the role

Fill a crucial supporting role in this special organisation
• Work with a passionate and committed team
• Use your administration and business skills for social impact

The Paul Ramsay Foundation (PRF) is committed to identifying the root causes of disadvantage and implementing strategic solutions to create systemic, sustainable change in Australian communities. Established as a private ancillary fund by the late Paul Ramsay, the Foundation is in a growth phase and is looking to significantly deepen its strategies across both health and education. With a commitment to strategic, innovative and evidence based grant making, the Foundation will look to forge long term, collaborative partnerships with peers, and fund scaleable projects to grow capacity and enable lasting change.

The Foundation is looking for an experienced Office Manager to join their team. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced individual to work for one of Australia’s most significant private foundations. The role of Office Manager is broad, encompassing administrative and operational duties. Your overarching responsibility will be to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the office and providing high quality support to the Directors and Executive team; specifically including scheduling and booking travel, organising team events and meetings, managing phone enquiries and mail distribution, assisting with collation, formatting and distributing board papers and minutes of meetings; maintaining and managing office facilities including meeting rooms, kitchen and lunchrooms; calendar management and meeting co-ordination, as well as managing office supplies. This role requires high levels of initiative and hands on approach to all tasks, great and small.

To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated experience in office co-ordination, a high level of professionalism, excellent communication skills, strong IT skills, the initiative to troubleshoot and the ability to build rapport quickly. You will be highly organised and comfortable managing multiple priorities to ensure individual and organisational needs are met. A willingness to understand the work undertaken by the Paul Ramsay Foundation is essential. An understanding of the not-for-profit landscape would be advantageous, but is not essential.

This role is full time and based in St. Leonards.
