Lifeline Australia is a national charity providing all Australians experiencing a personal crisis with access to 24 hour crisis support and suicide prevention services.
About the role
The Philanthropy Director of Lifeline Australia will contribute to the overall strategic direction of the organisation with a key focus on external stakeholder relationship management.
Education Requirements:
Tertiary qualifications in relevant business-related discipline
Experience Requirements:
Extensive experience in a fundraising environment
Membership of FIA and/or CFRE qualified preferred
Experience and good understanding of ‘moves management’ major gifts best
practice
Position Duties:
Manage the Fundraising team.
Act as Campaign Manager for Lifeline Australia’s capital fundraising campaign.
Establish and manage a Lifeline Australia major gifts Development Council.
Manage the Lifeline Australia Major Donor Club.
Play an integral role as a member of the fundraising team in promoting Lifeline Australia’s impact as a destination for philanthropy.
Proactively engage key stakeholders, building strong mutually beneficial relationship.
Who we are looking for:
We are looking for a fundraising professional who has experience managing teams, an ability to think and act strategically, demonstrate excellent judgement with highly developed networking and stakeholder engagement skills.
