Reporting to the Quality & Assurance Manager, in this newly created role you will lead one direct report and will take ownership of the crucial Safeguarding Children and Young People Program. Keeping up to date with changes in legislature and within the sector, you will actively work towards communicating and embedding Australian Childhood Standards across the broader organisation. Utilising your exceptional influencing skills, you will interact with a broad range of stakeholders across the Y’s diverse portfolios and will ensure child safety is understood and viewed as valuable to the organisation.
You possess an active interest and sound knowledge in childhood safety standards and legislation and adopt a strong continuous improvement focus in the work that you do. You are highly motivated and outcomes focused and pride yourself on your outstanding communication and interpersonal skills which enable you to bring diverse stakeholders on board.
