About the role

These are exciting times for the Institute as we embark on a journey to enhance policy research and impact. To support this vision, we are seeking an experienced Policy & Research Officer to join the Institute. In this exciting and varied role, you will work closely with our internal and external partners to build the Institute’s policy and research engagement. Reporting to the Policy & Research Manager, you will provide high level organisational support and assist with drafting research, project plans, proposals, submissions, grants applications and reports. Also, you will develop and implement project management tools and plans in order to meet the organisational and operational needs of the Public Policy program. The ideal candidate will have relevant tertiary qualification and/or equivalent experience in policy development, political science, law and the humanities, project support and research assistance. Please note this is a part-time, fixed term position at 28 hours (4 days) per week for a period of three (3) years.

Remuneration Package: Higher Education Worker Level 6 $74,402 to $79,779 per annum (comprising Salary $62,871 to $67,414 p.a., 17% Superannuation and Leave Loading)
