About the Organisation
Social Ventures Australia (SVA) is a social purpose organisation that works with partners to improve the lives of people in need in Australia. We help businesses, governments and philanthropists be more effective funders, and social purpose organisations to be more effective at delivering services.
SVA is the leading Venture Philanthropy organisation in Australia and has pioneered this approach since 2002. To date we have partnered with funders to better invest more than $50 million of funding and provide more effective support to over 88 social ventures. SVA’s Venture Philanthropy team seeks to grow evidence-based, innovative solutions with a path to long term social impact. We design and deliver projects and partnerships (“ventures”) that pilot, prove, share and scale new models to alleviate disadvantage.
